Mind Spa: a session on Personality Development at IIBS Noida

The day started  with “Mind Spa” a session on Personality Development facilitated by  Professor. Renu Bhardwaj. The objective of the session was to impart knowledge, sharpen skills and orient attitudes of participants so that they are capable of performing better in their roles as leaders based on the situation.

This was followed by a session by Ms. Shikha Sharma, Asst. Manager Operations, Axis Bank. She delivered a session on “The opportunities in Banking Sector”.She highlighted that Banking today is a niche career for enthusiasts in the field of commerce and accounts.For the beginners it is the first step towards understanding the global economy, discovering the challenges of the market place and identifying themselves with a career that provides them with tremendous opportunities both within the country and abroad.

The S-17 MBA students participated in “Ad Mania”, a Management game organized by S-16 Batch students, Aanchal, Mayank, Raju & Bincy. The students designed advertisement along with Tagline and Brand logo for various products like Watch,Soap,Toothpaste & Footwear.This activity  motivated students  to pool their talents and perform at their best individually and as team players. Team members discover that diversity is their greatest asset and trust, cooperation and effective communication are the key to a team’s success.

In the current competitive job scenario, choosing the right specialization is vital to ensure a promising career.and it’s a  difficult process for students .To facilitate the same  Prof. Seema Mishra, Dean, IIBS Noida addressed students  considering the market demand of a particular specialization and matching the same with their skill set.

The day culminated with students giving their feedbacks so as to understand and know their expectations and learning out of the  sessions followed by  cake cutting by S-17 students to acknowledge the warm gesture of Tarun Rajput the Alumni of S-9 Batch who has sent the cake  to welcome his juniors.
