The 10th day of the MOM programme, which was organised by IIBS, was a remarkable and enriching experience for the PGDM 2023 batch students. The students were taken on a trip to the Pyramid Valley Meditation Centre in Bangalore, India. The goal of this visit was to give students an unparalleled opportunity to investigate organisational spirituality and its real-world applications while also giving them an inside look at how a spiritual and health centre is run. Moreover, to see how the organization's daily procedures and practises include spiritual values. Prof. Alka Gupta and Dr. Samiya Mubeen coordinated this session.

Around 11 a.m., we arrived to the peaceful Pyramid Valley Meditation Centre to begin the day. The meditation center's tranquil, relaxing atmosphere was a wonderful contrast from the typical commotion of daily living. The students were able to witness the selfless gesture of serving free meals to almost 15000 people each month when visiting Nithya Annadhan, which was one of the highlights of the trip. The dinner tasted hearty and like it had been cooked at home. It's also admirable that IIBS gave a monetary donation in support of this cause, helping even more people in need.

The time spent in Kabir Valley practising meditation was a crucial aspect of the journey. Many of the attendees probably learned how to meditate for the first time during this. It was enlightening and revitalising to meditate in the Pyramid Valley and experience it in that setting. Due to its distinctive architectural layout, The Pyramid Valley is renowned for its capacity to improve the meditation experience.

The idea of organisational spirituality and its potential advantages for employee health and overall organisational performance were better understood as a result of this experience learning. Students learned how to realistically apply spiritual principles in an organisational setting, fostering a great workplace culture and all-around employee growth. It prompted students to think critically about the possible advantages of integrating spiritual practises into the workplace and pushed them to approach their future jobs from a more holistic and mindful attitude.

Overall, the visit to the Pyramid Valley Meditation Centre gave the PGDM 2023 batch students and faculty the chance to learn about meditation, experience its advantages, and take part in a significant charitable act through the Nithya Annadhan programme. It's obvious that there were many peaceful, self-discovering, and community-serving moments throughout the day.
