Grow With Present–MOM Day 4

On the fourth day of MOM for New Students, Prof. Chandrakala presented on the subject of "Grow With Present." The major goal of this session was to conduct a business awareness programme that would benefit students and keep them informed about the current business environment. Because it is a student-driven project, it can also help to include and empower the children in their learning process.

The emphasis on learning about new product launches, mergers and acquisitions, business news, and the stock market information is crucial for students studying business and economics. Students who stay up to date on these subjects get essential information about the workings of the corporate world and the dynamics of global markets.

Additionally, involving students in data collection can strengthen their research and analytical skills and encourage them to think critically about the effects of these business events. Their collaboration and communication abilities may be enhanced when they cooperate to gather and distribute information.

"Current Events" may play a vital part in developing the business acumen of students, preparing them for their future occupations, and forming them into knowledgeable and responsible global citizens by making the programme interactive and encouraging a culture of curiosity and constant learning.

The students were separated into various groups of 7 students after the professor briefed them on the session's technique. The library's newspaper was to be taken by the students. The squad captain for each group was chosen. The panel had to decide on themes based on editorial, business news, politics, sports, entertainment, and local, national, and international news. The presentation and preparation were given the time they needed.

Each group member selected one of the aforementioned themes and gave a presentation on it. Based on communication, presentation abilities, and substance, the evaluation was conducted. The faculty provided the students with feedback.

The student's understanding of the economy, state, country, and world is improved as a result of this lesson. It promotes awareness of current events, decreases stage fright, and improves communication abilities.  Being integrated into the academic schedule and beginning after the MOM programme gives this session the appearance of having a well-structured approach.
