IIBS has organised a guest lecture on “Connected Corporate”. The speaker of the lecture was Mr. Sunil Kumar, founder and CEO of Greenstep. The company is a Bangalore based company that has specialized in developing software for small and medium business companies all over the world. Mr. Sunil Kumar has been in the composite industry for the past 20 years working exclusively in software industry. He is an alumnus of IIM Ahemdabad.
In the lecture Mr. Sunil discussed about industrial working in the past, present and future. He also informed us about the change that has come in the working of industry and most of the new companies going to service sector. He also informed us about “Collaborated competitors” that is going to happen in the near future.
He also shared his experience that quality, time, budget and technology are the prime requirements of today’s world. He explained us what is the meaning of company, corporate, organisation, enterprise and setup and shared his views on various roles of management, employee, system structure, process, product and services and customer in an organisation. He also introduced us the skills and attitude which we need for the success like communication, skills, aptitude, discipline and adding value to company with our existence.
The session ended with the explanation of the question, how can we collaborate and become part of this connected world. Overall an enriching experience from the CEO of Greenstep Banglore.
