IIBS Cultural Fiesta, the Fine Arts Club, has set up a nine day dress colour code using Navratri Colours as inspiration. The nine-day Navratri festival honours Goddess Durga on each day of the celebration. The nine various incarnations of Goddess Durga are honoured over the nine nights of Navratri. Every day of the festival begins with the invocation of Shailputri, followed by Brahmcharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skanda Mata, Katyayani, Kaalratri, Mahagauri, and Siddhidatri. Durga, the consort of Lord Shiva, has taken on a variety of forms. top 10 MBA colleges in Bangalore

Navratri is a nine-day celebration that honours a different Durga manifestation each day. The festival has a particular colour for each day that can be worn. These hues hold great significance and are seen as lucky. The colours associated with Navratri mean;

  • The colour white is a representation of innocence and purity. Wear white on the first day to earn the blessings of the goddess and feel at peace and secure inside.
  • Wear red on the second day. Red is the most popular colour that stands for passion and love. This hue gives the individual energy and vitality.
  • On the third day, wear Royal Blue with unrivaled panache and grace. Richness and serenity are symbolised by the bright shade of blue known as royal blue.
  • The Goddess Maa Kushmanda is honoured on the fourth day. The colour of the day is yellow. It is a pleasant colour that makes a person happy all day long.
  • The colour green represents nature and conjures up images of growth, fertility, tranquility, and calm. Wear it on the Fifth Day, and the Goddess will grant you peace. Green is a symbol for fresh starts in life.
  • Wear grey on the sixth day. The colour grey stands for balanced emotions and keeps a person grounded.
  • Orange is the colour for Day 7. Worship the goddess Kalratri on this day while wearing orange. The colour is uplifting and exuberant, and it stands for warmth and joy.
  • Peacock Green suggests individuality and distinctiveness on the eighth day of Navratri. This colour radiates the traits that these two colours are known for, including sympathy and vitality.
  • On the 9th day, wear pink. Pink represents peace, love, and affection on a global scale. It is a lovely colour that makes a person personable and adds a tonne of charm to their personality.

Every student and employee at IIBS has been enthralled by the tradition of designating a colour to each day of the Navratri celebrations. The past few days, the entire campus was packed with individuals who opted to dress in the single colour designated for that specific day. Given that they can wear their beautiful attire as well, the students, in general, appear to enjoy this new tradition very much. Since many people utilise this trend as an excuse to take images for their social media feed and profile pictures, it definitely lifted the campus's spirits, which are typically constrained to uniforms and formal attire.

The fact that every student in the class, with the exception of one or two, wore coordinated colours for Navratri, excited the students greatly. The event's coordinators did not impose any colour limits but instead stuck to the primary colour scheme. Whether it is darker or brighter than the rest is really irrelevant. For the class shots, it's more important to match with everyone.

The Fine Arts Club, and IIBS Cultural Fiesta, were acknowledged for their ardent efforts in promoting clothing in a variety of colours. Finding clothes that go with the colour of the day can be quite a chore, but the joy of taking pictures with teachers and friends makes it worthwhile. The sensation of belonging is further enhanced by the entire IIBS campus being clothed in various shades of one colour. MBA Institutes in Bangalore
