For management students, involvement in all co - curricular activities and the ongoing need to enhance one's talents and skills are of utmost importance. On March 1, 2023, in the Seminar Hall, IIBS Cultural Fiesta, the cultural club,  hosted an Open Mic Event.

The purpose of the event was to give all of the students a stage on which to demonstrate their performance abilities and convey their ideas in their favorite languages in front of a large audience of students and faculty members. Dr.Samiya Mubeen and Prof. Susmitha TP organised the event. Students had the opportunity to showcase their skills, self-assurance, and personalities during the event.

The event featured stand-up comedy, poetry, rapping, and singing. In addition, it was wonderful to observe that some participants used this occasion to publicly debut their shayaris. A group of students gathered to discuss their opinions. All faculties provided the participants great feedback and admirable praise, which boosted everyone's confidence and enthusiasm and inspired the student audience to take part in similar events and activities. 

A student's participation in an open mic is further evidence that he is an expert and is portraying himself as such. "Open Mic" is about providing a chance to anyone who seeks it. It is intended to make a statement and leave a lasting impression on everyone who attends. The chance for performers to the network is one of the advantages of appearing at open mics. Exposure is a further advantage. Attendees have the chance to find talent at open mics. The opportunity to play at an open mic allows the students to hone their stage presence and determine the most effective technique to engage audiences. The program's extra benefits were;

  • Pick up fresh methods for interpreting and being spontaneous.
