IIBS is an epitome of unity in diversity as students are from different places with vivid cultures.  A session on cultural interaction was led by Prof. Susmitha TP on the 8th day of the MOM programme. The session's goal was to promote greater open-mindedness among the students by exposing them to a variety of viewpoints, ideas, and cultural traditions. They will become more receptive to new concepts as a result, and they will be better able to understand a subject by considering various viewpoints. MBA programs in Bangalore

The session taught the students a lot about valuing the differences that make each person unique. They were asked to design activities that would highlight and celebrate diversity in the classroom while also providing a secure environment for all students to express themselves. A culturally sensitive curriculum that considers the diversity of its student body is what IIBS does best. They also recognize the value of fostering cultural awareness. Numerous activities take place at IIBS to promote cultural awareness in the classroom, and faculty members actively demonstrate to their students that they are concerned about their needs on a cultural, emotional, and intellectual level.

The class was split up into various groups throughout the session, and each group included students from various Indian states. In the course of the session, the following tasks were assigned; MBA in Project Management in Bangalore

  • Each student is instructed to say good morning to everyone in their regional language.
  • To discuss their ethnic background with their teammates and present that information in order to establish rapport with their classmates.
  • To examine the various customs, ideologies, and social practices. In groups, the same would be presented as well.

A few cultural performances marked the end of the session. Some traditional songs were sung by the students and folk dances of their region were performed. MBA in Operations Management in Bangalore

The outcome of the session was that the Students who learn about different cultures during their education feel more comfortable and safe with these differences later in life. This allows them to interact in a wider range of social groups and feel more confident in themselves as well as in their interactions with others.

“Cultural differences should not separate us from each other, but rather cultural diversity brings a collective strength that can benefit all of humanity” – Robert Alan
